Space industry R&D takes a giant leap in NSW

Projects financed under a historic new programme include technologies aimed at improving our space-based defence surveillance capabilities, improving the performance of computers in space, and delivering sovereign production of communication systems.Through its first Research Pilot Program, the NSW Space Research Network (SRN) will sponsor seven projects, with two more projects receiving seed funding. The SRN is a university-led programme financed by the NSW Government that aims to improve the local space sector by collaborating with government and academic research institutes.
